Founded by Pastor Eugene E. Harris in 2012 in Toledo Ohio, Rock of Praise Church of God in Christ (COGIC) plays host to countless church services, weddings, funerals, conventions, community events and dignitaries. Rock of Praise aims to spread the gospel and serve the local community.
Church of God in Christ was Founded in 1863 in the American South. The denomination has more than 12,000 churches and around 7 million members in the country making it the largest Pentecostal church in the United States. The National Council of Churches ranks it as the fifth largest Christian denomination in the U.S.
COGIC can be found in more than 90 nations with an international membership estimated between one and three million adherents in more than 13,000 churches, missions, and outreaches. Its worldwide membership is estimated to be between eight and nine million composing more than 25,000 congregations throughout the world. The current presiding Bishop is Bishop Charles Edward Blake Sr., who is the Senior Pastor of West Angeles Church of God In Christ.

Our purpose and mission is to secure a House of Worship where the people of God can worship in spirit and in truth, in the beauty of holiness. We will proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to those that are in sin, making disciples of men.
Minister to the spiritual and natural needs of the church body and local community through Christian worship and fellowship, teaching, training, and programs of educational and social significance in the community as it relates to the word of God.
